The reason why buildings have guttering is to protect themselves from water damage and structural damage. Gutters steer rainfall away from walls, windows, roof tiles, and doors to protect the overall structure of the building.
Clogged gutters and blocked downpipes force the rainwater to leak down the walls to cause discolouration and stains on your outside walls as well as create dampness and mould which can lead to severe health problems.
The build-up in gutters comes from a variety of sources. Rainwater runoff can push moss and dirt into your gutters where it can cause build-up and blockages. Seeds (helicopter seeds especially!) can land in your gutters from nearby trees or have been brought by birds and squirrels, where they split and germinate with the rainwater.
This leads to roots growing out of your gutters and affecting the health and flow of your guttering.
Not only do we use traditional ladders, but we also use Gutter Vacuum technology which enables us to reach difficult and awkward places. Both ladders and the Gutter Vaccum ensure we get the best possible results.
